Omer 493; with a relatedness percentage of just 16.5%, Omer 493 is one of the least related stallions in the Friesian studbook. He descends from stam 47, with a Ster-Preferent dam (sire: Karst) and a Ster-Preferent granddam (Naen), making his bloodline extremely valuable for breeding.
Omer 493 sires luxury foals, many of which have already become champions, including at Garijp 2018 and in Neustadt (Germany), where two of his offspring won in different categories.
Together with Marijke Folmer, Omer 493 formed a highly successful dressage partnership. The stallion is now classified at ZZ-L level. During his Central Performance Test, he was noted as a willing and friendly stallion with excellent use of the hind legs.
Omer 493 is a very typey and youthful stallion. He has a beautiful head and a friendly expression in his eyes. He switches gaits very smoothly and received an 8.5 for his walk. His excellent character and strong hindquarters make him a pleasure to work with.
