Product description
Goffert 369 descends from a highly predicate-rich mare line. His dam, the fertile Nynke J. Stb Ster (Cobus 248 x Ritske 202), produced no less than 14 foals. In combination with the stallion Reitse 272, this resulted in the birth of Goffert 369 in 1994. He completed his stallion performance test in 1997 and was imported to the United States in January 2002.
Goffert 369 was tall, beautiful, and immensely talented. Together with Belinda Nairn-Wertman, he successfully competed at Grand Prix level until his untimely passing in 2007. His greatest strength lay in collection — piaffe and passage came naturally to him.
Goffert 369 achieved numerous victories at the highest level, including first place in the Grand Prix Freestyle at the Kentucky Horse Park with a score of 74.1%, and fourth place in the CDI-W Grand Prix Freestyle at Dressage at Devon with 69.5%. His performances gained worldwide recognition, and in 2004 he was invited to perform at the 125th anniversary of the Friesian Studbook in the Netherlands, where he received a standing ovation from more than 10,000 spectators.
In 2006, Goffert was honored as the Breyer Friesian Horse of the Year, with a model created in his likeness.
Goffert comes from the distinguished mare line 78.
