Wish

Already as a foal, Wish van de Halse Rug was a striking presence. In 2023, he was crowned National Champion of Colt Foals in Lunteren, praised for his outstanding charisma and movement.

Wish is an exceptionally elegant and breed-typical stallion, with a beautifully refined head and expressive eye. He has a long, vertically carried neck and a well-connected topline. His legs are strong and correctly set, with long forelimbs. In movement, Wish shows ample scope, powerful impulsion, and natural self-carriage, both in walk and trot.

He comes from the highly esteemed Stamm 56, a line that has proven itself in breeding for many years.

His dam is the reliable Elite broodmare Firstlady A (breeder: Posch, Thaur – Austria). This strong dam line has produced several approved sons with breeding licenses as well as numerous elite mares.

His sire, Winnie, is a premium stallion rightfully regarded as a “stamp stallion.” He successfully completed his Performance Test in Stadl-Paura and earned a 1A premium at the World Exhibition in Tyrol. Winnie has also won multiple championship titles both nationally and internationally. In the Netherlands, he was twice Reserve Champion (2024 and 2025).
